Frequently Asked Questions

During your consultation, our technician will measure up your new eyebrows using a ruler and suggest the best shape and size of eyebrows that suits your facial contour. Your expectations are considered, and the new eyebrows are penciled in. Our technician will choose a color with you that matches your natural hair color, and skin undertone and a pigment blend are made. Your brow area is cleaned using an antiseptic or a disinfectant and numbed for the treatment. The handheld microblading pen cuts into the skin in the area marked around your eyebrows and implants pigment into the cuts. The featherlight strokes create a beautiful and realistic natural-looking brow.

The first microblading procedure takes between 2 to 3 hours. After 4 to 6 weeks, we will schedule the second microblading session for any necessary touch-ups. The second session takes anywhere around 1 to 2 hours. The second session is essential as the outcome varies for different people, especially for people with oily skin. The particular area may need more work as they may not pick up the pigment color during the first session. Brow thickness and more thickness can be added.

The microblading treatment takes around 7 to 14 days to heal. After the treatment, you are not allowed to get your eyebrows wet for 2 weeks. There is no downtime associated with the procedure, but you are advised to avoid activities that may make you sweat near your brows. You will also be encouraged to use a thin layer of Vaseline on the treatment area to prevent any infection.

Post-treatment, your eyebrow area will look slightly red, and the brows will look darker. The redness around the eyebrows and the tenderness is normal. The eyebrows will continue to be darker, and you will start to scab in the treatment area. Picking of the scab will damage the skin and the treatment. You are advised against picking the scabs. Slowly, the eyebrows will lighten by up to 40% as it starts to heal. It takes around seven to fourteen days for the brows to heal and about a month for the eyebrow color to set in.

A couple of hours of treatment gives you results that last 2 to 3 years.
